Hand Made - Custom - Pick Your Own Color & Fixtures - Dangle Upcycled/Recycled Mushrooms Earrings With Drop Down Faceted Crystals & Metal Fixtures - Made To Order
These fun little earrings mushrooms are not only vibrant statement pieces but also environmentally conscious. These are all one-of-a-kind pieces made from melted down recycled bottle caps, containers, and other HDPE/LDPE plastic materials I have collected, cleaned up, and/or have been donated to me. All the plastic is cleaned and sanitized thoroughly before breaking it down and melting it to shape into different designs. A lot of my color choices are also LGBTQ+ inspired and are a huge part of my work. Eventually, I hope to make designs for every pride flag and am slowly making my way there from each order.
If you have a custom order idea, color scheme, pride flag, and/or theme you are interested in, please reach out as I can accommodate just about every color under the rainbow at this point or mix colors to get different effects as needed.
While I have always loved making jewelry and creating art, I wanted to be as inclusive and environmentally forward as possible while bringing joy and confidence to others with the accessories they wear and this is the passion project that has stemmed from those things all coming together.
You can choose from Gold, Silver, or Copper Ox for the dangling piece around the faceted crystal below the mushroom caps. I can also do custom colors/mushroom types or designs if requested, just contact me directly for a personalized listing.
I have Stainless Steel, Sterling Silver, Copper Ox, Rose Gold, or Gold wire earrings for metal ear wires. The sterling silver is .925 and all of the wires options are nickel free ear wires. If you would prefer mixed metals and/or need clip-ons just include it with a note or message me. If you want some beading, different metal/mixed metals, or wrapped wiring instead of the plain attachments please message me about it as I can do extra personalization, but it might take more time and materials depending on what you are looking for.
These are sealed heat sealed at the end of the process again to lock in colors and make them last longer.
The mushrooms tops themselves are all just over 1-1 1/2 inches in diameter and about 2 1/2 inches long with the crystals & fixtures.
I made the mushroom gills out of different bead fixtures to match whatever metal you choose and will use them in all orders going forward unless you prefer it without and note that in the order of message me.
